Again, Lincoln joins Harry Connick, Jr., in support of Musicians’ Village. House Beautiful magazine will decorate the interior of a home there in harmony with the effort. It’s all part of Lincoln’s commitment to rebuilding the devastation left in the wake of Katrina.

LINCOLN AND HIP-HOP STAR COMMON SHOWCASE ASPIRING LYRICISTS

Lincoln and hip-hop star Common are searching for the best aspiring lyricists in the new “Lincoln Spotlight” music contest. “Spotlight” is an online event, open to the public, which invites contestants to create an original song and video using tracks available on the contest’s Web site. The winner will open for Common at one of his 2008 performances and receive $10,000 cash.*

*Grand Prize winner will be determined by Common and a select panel of music industry insiders. Submissions must be between 2 and 5 minutes long. Submission deadline was March 17. No purchase necessary.
