Lincoln Lowers Fuel Economy Ratings for Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Vehicles

We identified an error with fuel economy ratings on the 2013- and 2014-model year Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and notified the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). We worked with EPA as the agency retested the vehicles, which resulted in lower fuel economy ratings. You can view your vehicle’s correct EPA-estimated rating below.

We value you as a customer, and we want to continue to earn your trust. As a measure of goodwill, we would like to pay you for the estimated average fuel cost difference between the current combined miles-per-gallon estimate for your vehicle and the combined MPG estimate on the new label.

Please scroll down to determine your Goodwill Payment. No further action is required. You will receive a letter in the mail along with your payment no later than September 30, 2014. Fleet customers will be contacted by fleet representatives. We appreciate your patience.

We are absolutely committed to delivering top fuel economy and accurate information. We identified an error with fuel economy ratings on certain vehicles through our internal testing.
