2018 Lincoln MKT Safety & Technology Features - Lincoln.com

It happens at times to the best of drivers: unintentionally drifting out of the driving lane. That’s when you’ll appreciate your Lincoln MKT equipped with the available driver-activated Lane-Keeping System.*
A view through the windshield of an MKT is shown with colored lines mimicking how the Lane Keeping System works.
*Lane-Keeping System does not control steering. Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. Image is a dramatization of how the system senses the road. Green and blue lights are not seen during actual operation.

The available BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert61  helps make driving more convenient than one may expect. It uses radar to detect a vehicle in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-traffic alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind your vehicle as you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. If sensors detect a vehicle approaching from up to 15 yards away, you will be audibly and visually alerted.
The front seats of the Lincoln MKT are shown in Hazelnut.

The Lincoln MKT has three separate driver memory settings. With the push of a button, side mirrors, seat position, steering wheel and power-adjustable pedals return to their set positions.
