How do I replace the battery in the key fob for my Lincoln?
Your key fob uses one coin-type three-volt lithium battery. For instructions on replacing the battery in the key fob, refer to your Owner's Manual under the Keys and Remote Controls section.
Notes:
- Do not wipe off any grease on the battery terminals or on the back surface of the circuit board.
- Refer to local regulations when disposing of batteries.
- Replacing the battery does not erase the programmed key from the vehicle.
If you need assistance, take all your key fobs to your preferred Lincoln Retailer.
