How do I transfer my Lincoln vehicle ownership using the Lincoln app?
If you are selling or gifting your vehicle, use the steps below for more details.
Important: Before you attempt to change your vehicle's ownership, ensure the following criteria are met:
- Both the current owner and new owner must have Lincoln app accounts.
- The vehicle must be added to the Lincoln app.
Transferring a Vehicle
Select from the drop-down options below to find the instructions to transfer a vehicle for current owners and new owners:
Current Owner Instructions
- Log in to the Lincoln app.
- Tap Remove vehicle.
- Select the vehicle to remove.
New Owner Instructions
After the current owner removes the vehicle from their account:
- Download the Lincoln app and create an account.
- Log in to the Lincoln app.
- Add the vehicle to your Lincoln app.
