Why is the Lincoln app not responding?
If you receive a message stating the Lincoln app has become unresponsive, refer to the troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshooting
Select the first dropdown below to troubleshoot why your Lincoln app is not responding.
Lincoln App Updates
Check for Lincoln app updates on your mobile device. If you are unsure if your app is up-to-date, search for the Lincoln app in your respective app store.
- If the update option appears, update and try using the app again.
 - If the app shows as up-to-date, continue to the Connection Strength dropdown.
 
Connection Strength
Check your cellular strength and or Wi-Fi connection.
- Wi-Fi connection:
- If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
 - If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
 
 - Cellular connection:
- If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
 - If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.
 
 
Restarting
Force close the Lincoln app.
- Android™ devices:
- Open your device's Settings.
 - Scroll down and select Apps (this is usually found in the Device section).
 - Select the Lincoln app.
 - Tap the Stop or Force stop option.
 - Tap OK to confirm the action.
 
 - iOS® devices without a Home button:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
 - Swipe left or right until you locate the Lincoln app.
 - Swipe up on the Lincoln app.
 
 - iOS devices with a Home button:
- Double-click the Home button.
 - Swipe left or right until you locate the Lincoln app.
 - Swipe up on the Lincoln app.
 
 - Power off your device for 30 - 60 seconds.
 - Turn your device on and log back in to the Lincoln app.
