Why Do I Have to Request Authorization on My Connected Vehicle?
If you've attempted to authorize the remote commands feature, but received a pop-up confirming that your vehicle is already activated:
- Tap the Request Authorization tab if you will be an additional user.
- A message will be sent to all current activated users.
- They will receive your request in their app message center.
- Once approved, you will be able to complete the authorization process.
Note: If you want to activate a vehicle and remove all existing activated users, you can perform a modem reset.
