Cruise Control Feature Types

The table below provides general information about different types of cruise control features. For additional information, refer to your Owner's Manual.

Cruise Control Feature TypeDescription
Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control works like normal cruise control but uses radar and a camera to detect a vehicle ahead and will automatically slow the vehicle to maintain a comfortable distance behind the vehicle in front.

Adaptive Cruise Control provides:

  • Advanced radar technology used to monitor traffic ahead and scan for slower vehicles.
  • The ability to maintain a comfortable distance behind the vehicle in front.
Stop-And-GoAdaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go can bring the vehicle to a complete stop when traffic slows and can accelerate back up to the pre-set speed.
Lane Centering AssistAdaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering reads the lane markings to help keep your vehicle centered in the lane, yet the driver needs to keep hands on the wheel.

Note: Lane Centering is not designed to operate on tight radius curves such as highway ramps, or lanes that are abnormally wide or narrow.
Predictive Speed AssistYou can enable the Predictive Speed Assist option in the center display to allow the vehicle to automatically adjust the speed while traversing select curves.
