What is Lincoln's Auto Hold* feature?

Auto Hold keeps the vehicle at a complete stop until you press the accelerator. This is useful in stop-and-go traffic and at traffic lights so that you can comfortably relax your foot. The rear brake lights remain illuminated when Auto Hold is engaged.

Using Auto Hold

  1. Press the Auto Hold button on the instrument cluster or the console to turn the feature on. The feature can be turned on anytime, even when the vehicle is moving. The Auto Hold icon will illuminate in the cluster when the system is turned on.
