How do I set up Phone As A Key with the Lincoln app?
You can set up Phone As A Key™* on your Lincoln app with the setup steps below.
Phone As A Key Requirements
To use Phone As A Key with your Lincoln app, you must meet the requirements below:
- Phone As A Key is available for your vehicle.
- You have added your vehicle to the Lincoln app.
- Your vehicle's modem is activated.
- Your vehicle's Connectivity Settings are turned on.
- Your mobile device's Bluetooth® Wireless Technology is enabled and running version 4.2 or greater.
- You have a supported mobile device running:
- iOS® 16.0 or later.
- Android™ 8.0 or later.
- Facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, or a passcode is set up on your mobile device.
Setting up Phone As A Key
To set up Phone As A Key:
- Log in to the Lincoln app.
- Ensure you have the correct vehicle selected (if you have more than one vehicle added to the Lincoln app), then tap Make this phone a key at the top of the app screen.
- Select Pair Device.
Note: A prompt for Bluetooth access may appear, depending on your phone's manufacturer.- If it does, tap Allow to continue the Phone As A Key setup.
- If you select Deny, the setup process will end, and you will not be able to use Phone As A Key.
- Tap Pair device to continue. The key download will begin.
Note: If you tap Don't Allow, the setup process will end.
- Follow the remaining prompts to complete your Phone As A Key setup.
