How do I change Vehicle Connectivity Settings in my Lincoln?

You can enable or disable Vehicle Connectivity through the settings menu of your SYNC®* or Lincoln Digital Experience®** system using the instructions in this article.

We recommend keeping Vehicle Connectivity on for the best update experience.

Turning Vehicle Connectivity Settings On and Off

Important:

  • Your vehicle must be parked and running, and in an open location (e.g., free of overhead foliage, ceilings, etc.).
  • SYNC generations without a touchscreen do not have Connectivity Settings.
  • Certain features, such as Connected Navigation or Sirius XM, may have their own toggle in the Vehicle Connectivity/Connected Vehicle Features section. For these features to function properly, the setting must be toggled on. Ensure all relevant features are enabled when configuring connectivity settings for SYNC 4 and Lincoln Digital Experience vehicles.

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to modify your SYNC connectivity settings. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.
