What are the SYNC 4 navigation options?

The SYNC®* 4 Connected Navigation** and Connected Built-in Navigation† options provide intuitive, reliable mapping at your side to help find smooth routes. No device battery limits, no dead zone hassles. No need to plug in your phone, period.

Lincoln’s Connected Navigation options provide live traffic, Yelp integration, weather conditions, a streaming map, and more, including:

  • Voice Activation - Ditch distractions and stay focused on the road with voice-activated route requests and guidance.
  • Real Time Traffic - Outsmart congestion with cloud-based, real-time traffic updates and automatic rerouting due to weather conditions, road hazards, and more.
  • Offline Mapping - Update and store maps of your favorite locations in your Lincoln vehicle so you’re never caught off-guard by detours or cellular dead zones.

Connected Built-in Navigation (3-Year Trial)

  • A 3-year free trial begins on the vehicle's warranty start date (not the date the modem is activated).
  • Reverts to Embedded Navigation with no Connected Navigation services (e.g., live traffic) if a subscription is not purchased after the trial ends.
  • The full map is updated yearly, and the home zone is updated quarterly while the service is active.
  • Provides navigation in cellular dead zones.
  • You will receive map updates automatically via software updates during your free trial and subscription periods.
  • You can extend your subscription at Lincoln.com/connectedservices.
  • Applies to:
    • 2023 model year (MY) Nautilus and Navigator.
    • 2022 MY Nautilus and Navigator.
    • 2021 MY Nautilus.

Connected Navigation (Various Trial Periods)

  • A free trial begins on the vehicle's warranty start date (not the date the modem is activated).
  • Reverts to a "moving map" with no destination routing functionality if a subscription is not purchased after the trial ends.
  • The full map is updated yearly, and the "home zone" is updated quarterly while the service is active.
  • Provides navigation in cellular dead zones.
  • You will receive map updates automatically via software updates during your free trial and subscription periods.
  • You can extend your subscription at Lincoln.com/connectedservices.
  • Applicable vehicles and trial lengths:
    • 2026 MY Corsair: 4-year trial.
    • 2025 MY Corsair: 4-year trial.
    • 2024 MY Corsair and Navigator: 1-year trial.

Smartphone Navigation

  • Offers navigation via a smartphone device with Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™.
  • Does not work in "cellular dead zones."

Eligible vehicles receive a complimentary 90-day trial of navigation services that begins on the new vehicle warranty start date. Customers must unlock the navigation service trial by activating the eligible vehicle with a Lincoln app member account. If not subscribed by the end of the complimentary period, the navigation service will terminate. Connected Services and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent the operation of connected features.
