How do I turn my vehicle into a Wi-Fi hotspot using SYNC with MyLincoln Touch?

SYNC^®* with MyLincoln Touch^™ turns your Wi-Fi-enabled smartphone into a Wi-Fi hotspot^** for your passengers. They can go online while you drive without disrupting your phone's connection to SYNC. Follow the steps below.

1. Select Settings on your SYNC screen.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Select Wireless & Internet.
4. Tap Wi-Fi Settings.
5. Set Gateway Access Point Mode to On.
6. Select Gateway Access Point Settings.
7. Select one of the Security Types: WEP, WPA, or WPA2.
   
   Note: SYNC displays a security passcode to allow your device(s) to join the SYNC Wi-Fi network.
    
8. Select SYNC from the available networks on your mobile device(s) and enter the SYNC Passcode exactly as shown (passcodes are case-sensitive).
9. Join the network.

^*Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear.  Not all features are compatible with all phones.
