SYNC® with MyLincoln Touch® voice commands can control your AM/FM radio, CD player, SiriusXM®, USB media player, or Bluetooth® Audio device.27

Key points about Entertainment voice commands

If you're already listening to an Entertainment system, SYNC assumes your voice command is for that mode. To switch to a different Entertainment system, you must say the name of it first to switch modes. For example, if a CD is playing and you want to play the radio, say "Radio" then give radio commands.34,48

However, it is no longer necessary to identify the entertainment system when switching between USB, Radio, and SiriusXM (if equipped) modes. For example, when playing media via a USB source, you do not have to say, “Radio, FM 107.7,” just press the Voice button, and then give SYNC the task, “FM 107.7.” Similarly, when in Radio mode, you can now press the Voice button and say “Play <Track> by <Artist>” (ex. “Play The Ninth Symphony by Beethoven”) to begin listening to a specific track that is stored on your USB-connected device.

Most of the SYNC Entertainment systems start to play as soon as you load media. With indexed devices (such as USB media players), SYNC first uploads the index, so it can take a few minutes for play to begin.

"Track" refers to audio track and is usually the same as "song."
