Lincoln Motor Company does not brand titles. Vehicle titles are branded by the registration state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Based on data provided by each state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), insurance companies, and internal sources, Lincoln will cancel the New Vehicle Limited Warranty on any vehicle that has ever been labeled or branded as dismantled, flood, junk, reconstructed, salvaged, or that has been determined to be a total loss by an insurance company.
