How do I program my Lincoln's universal garage door opener?

Types of Garage Door Openers
Car2U
If the transmitter in your driver's side visor has three buttons with a light above each button, as shown in the image below, you have a Car2U system in your vehicle.
HomeLink®
If the transmitter in your driver's side visor has three buttons and a house-shaped icon with one light, as shown in the image below, you have a HomeLink system in your vehicle.
