How do I use Privacy Mode while on the phone in my Lincoln?

Privacy Mode can be turned on and off through your vehicle's SYNC®* or Digital Experience** screen using the instructions below.

You may not hear a phone call, but the person on the other end of the line can hear you, or you may hear the person on your phone and not the vehicle speakers. This indicates that the call is in Privacy Mode.

Important:

  • Privacy Mode is only available while using a Bluetooth connection.
  • Privacy Mode is not available as a button on the screen while using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
  • Privacy Mode may only be turned on or off during an active call.
