GAPCOVERAGE

GAPCoverage provides protection for up to 96 months for the gap between your insurance payoff and your remaining finance balance. 

In such events, GAPCoverage may pay the difference between the actual cash value of your personal-use Lincoln vehicle (of up to 12,500 lbs. GVWR) and your remaining balance to the lesser of $125,000 or 150% of MSRP (new)/150% of NADA “retail” value with deductible coverage of up to $1,000. 

GAPADVANTAGE

If you want additional peace of mind, you may select GAPAdvantage, which provides everything in GAPCoverage plus a $1,000 credit toward the cost of a replacement vehicle from your originating Lincoln Retailer (where available).

Both GAPCoverage and GAPAdvantage are only available at the time of vehicle purchase. 

EXCLUSIONS

While we endeavor to provide you with significant protection whenever possible, GAPCoverage and GAPAdvantage are not able to provide benefits when loss or damage occurs:

• Due to fraud or intentional damage by you
• Prior to the total loss date
• Outside the U.S. or Canada
• After the redemption period following a repossession
• Due to legal confiscation by a public official
• If licensed, registered/titled in a business name or used for business or has a salvage title

ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS INCLUDE

• Late charges, delinquent payments and deferred payments
• Various refundable amounts due to you for early cancellation of financed products
• Termination and disposition fees

WEARCARE® WITH RED CARPET LEASE

WearCare® with Red Carpet Lease provides you protection against unexpected wear and use charges at lease end on your Lincoln vehicle.

Even the most conscientious driver cannot prevent the inevitable chips, dings and scratches caused by the road. That’s why we offer you the option of WearCare®. Electing WearCare® at the beginning of your lease protects you from unexpected excess wear and use charges.

When you purchase WearCare®, the coverage waives excess wear and use charges up to $10,000 (subject to conditions). It helps leasing a Lincoln be a worry-free and enjoyable experience.

EXCLUSIONS

• Excess mileage charges
• Missing parts costing more than $300
• Damage caused by seizure, confiscation, racing, criminal acts, war, radiation, mechanical or electrical breakdown, improper repairs and alterations
• Damage from use in certain commercial activities, including, but not limited to, delivery, taxi, emergency vehicle, rental, construction and landscaping
