What should I do if I receive an error when I try to activate my Lincoln vehicle?
When you request access to an activated vehicle in the Lincoln Way® App*, you may receive a pop-up message advising that the vehicle activation is unavailable or to "Please Try Again Later." See below for more information.
Lincoln Way App Activation Troubleshooting
Select your Lincoln Way App experience for more information if you are unable to connect to your vehicle.
Lincoln Way App 4.X Experience
If you attempt to activate your vehicle but receive a pop-up advising that the activation is currently unavailable, tap OK on the pop-up message to return to the Home screen.
Note: To activate your account, the current activation request has to be completed first.
If you need further assistance, contact a Lincoln Way Client Experience Manager by selecting Account > Help in your app or calling us at 1-844-324-2330.
Lincoln Way App 5.X Experience
If you attempt to connect your vehicle but receive a pop-up to "Please Try Again Later," this means that there was an error and the connection could not be completed. Refer to the error code (if available) within the pop-up message for more details.
If no error code is available, or you need further assistance, contact a Lincoln Way Client Experience Manager by selecting Account > Help in your app or calling us at 1-844-324-2330.
