My e-mail address, phone number, or authenticator app has changed. How do I receive a Lincoln Automotive Financial Services authentication code?
You can add, edit, or remove your e-mail address, phone number, or authenticator app in Account Manager to receive multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes. Please note, you must have access to your current MFA method to make any updates.
Account Manager Online
To Add New or Edit Current Authentication Method(s)
- Go to accountmanager.lincoln.com.
- Click Sign In to enter your username and password.
- After you sign in, select Profile Information.
- Under Account Security, select Manage to open Sign In Credentials page.
- Select Add next to the method you would like to add or select Edit to update your current method.
- Follow the steps below based on method:
- For e-mail:
- Enter new email address and select Request Code.
- Access e-mail inbox to get verification code then enter verification code received. Click Submit.
- You will receive Success pop-up message.
- For SMS/Text:
- Enter mobile number and select Request Code.
- Access text messages to get verification code then enter verification code received. Click Submit.
- You will receive Success pop-up message.
- For authentication app:
- You will be prompted to download an authenticator app or open the authenticator app.
- Scan the QR code or manually enter the code.
- You will receive Success pop-up message.
- For e-mail:
To Remove an Authentication Method
- Go to accountmanager.lincoln.com.
- Click Sign In to enter your username and password.
- After you sign in, select Profile Information.
- Under Account Security, select Manage to open Sign In Credentials page.
- Select Remove next to the method you want to delete.
Note: You must keep at least one active MFA method.
